Hook 'em Horns

If you didn't watch the Rose Bowl game last night you cheated yourself. I didn't have a dog in this fight so I just got to watch one of the greatest football games ever played. Love or hate the BCS, they got it right this year and the two best teams played last night.

USC was great, but Texas led by the best player I've seen play college ball Vince Young, was rightly victorious. Vince Young was a man among boys and ran over under and through everyone who tried to tackle him. He played better at running back than the Heisman winning tailback on the other team, and better at QB than their Heisman winning QB . All the talk about Houston winning the Reggie Bush sweepstakes might be a bit premature, heck he wasn't even the best running back for USC last night. LenDale White was dominating and outshone Bush.

Rarely does the game live up to it's relentless publicity, but this time, do believe the hype.
