Time for a purge at CIA and State:

Dana Priest, the Washington Post reporter and mouthpiece for the opposition party in the CIA has another piece up similar to her CIA torture facility piece, which I smacked with a funny here.

This time she had a collection of disgruntled current and former intel weenies feeding her one side of a possible rendition gone wrong. The biggest problem is that the CIA should not have an active opposition to the administration, and both they and the State Department under Colin Powell have undermined the President at every opportunity. Powell's Chief of Staff Col. Lawrence Wilkerson is a perfect example, nominally a military officer, although like many at State he has been co-opted by the pantywaists and realists who are scared to ever take action. These folks are the sources for many leaks damaging to the United States and our interests worldwide. Given the volume of dung that was flung about the non-outing of Playboy Joe Wilson's wife, the leaks and direct opposition of US policy by career liberals and others at CIA and State should be scrutinized and sackings are in order.

Iraq still not Vietnam, no matter how hard they try:

The WaPo also has a piece by Jonathan Rauch that continues the attempts to rebrand a victory in Iraq as Vietnam Redux, with an embattled President forced by media and public opinion to abandon an unwinnable war. I won't reargue Vietnam, but Iraq couldn't be more different. The sole factor tying the two is a hysterical media willing to prostitute themselves and any credibility they had left to prove that "war is not the answer". Well we know that is BS and fortunately there are more voices every day exposing the reality and putting the lie to their lies. 2006 will be a major battle to define the war in Iraq, and we must redouble our efforts to counter the media. The left would love to spend next year telling us and the world that W had to cut and run, but as soon as the Iraqis seat their new government and we continue turning over security to their forces, we can hold victory parades for returning units.

Death to Tookie:

Goodbye Tookie, say hello to all the other dead bangers in Hell. His main claim for clemency is his two books telling kids do as I say not as I do, unmentioned is that total sales for both is less than 500. Odds are those were bought by, maybe even written by, the same left-wing buttheads now clamoring for his release. Tookie deserves no slack for making the biggest problem for urban blacks even worse. The epidemic of single parenthood means 2/3+ of poor black kids have no father at home, Tookie provided the worst possible substitute for a caring father, a "use you up and throw you away" gang. I am not a fan of the death penalty, I would replace it with solitary for life no visitors, just in case. But if there is a good candidate it is this swine.

Batman Begins:

Watched it last night, and they have my permission to destroy the others in the series, for sucking, and remake them with Christian Bale and the team that made this. Great flick. If you haven't seen Bale in American Psycho, you have cheated yourself. My business cards are linen, with raised platinum ink, oh yeah.

The Devil's Rejects:

Rob Zombie's follow up to House of a Thousand Corpses, is the best horror flick I've ever seen, perfectly low-brow and visually freakish. It is so much closer to the reality of how sick, evil people act and the victims see all too clearly how bad their ends will be.
