Orlando
So, I happen to be in Orlando when Disney is hosting their annual International Wine and Food Festival at Epcot.
BTW, I love both FOOD AND WINE ( I know, I know, that's hard to believe). So I stopped by tonight...
First, note to Disney, putting a Beer Stand with the sign "Best Beers in the World" at the front of the "World Showcase"...well that's gonna hamper me from making it all the way around the Epcot world - especially when I'm trying different Irish or German beers by the dozen.
The next surprise this evening was that the Gap Band was playing at the American Theatre. Led by Charlie Wilson *who is selling number one records right now* , the Gap Band funked the crowd out pretty well.
When I was in High School (like twenty something years ago), I listened to everything. I was really into Punk (Social D - which now provides the theme song to my 4-year-old's favorite Nicolodean Show) and Rockabilly (Jason and the Scorchers) and then maybe Funk after that. The Gap Band, in the early 80's, was the @#$%. They played Early in the Morning, Why Do You Want to Hurt Me, Party Train, and You Dropped A Bomb On Me. They were great.
Anyway, tomorrow is more nonsense with the Mouse....more later.
