Operation River Gate

First, Bill Roggio at the The Fourth Rail has been all over the Operations in Iraq and his analysis is, by far, the best.  Operation Bawwabatu Annaher's (River Gate) goal is to deny Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) the ability to operate in the Western Euphrates River Valley cities and to free the local citizens from the insurgents’ campaign of murder and intimidation targeting innocent women, children and men.  Here's the link to the latest news and photos from River Gate courtesy of Bill Roggio.
