The title get your attention?  Not a fact...but maybe a prediction.

I'll be in DC and Orlando over the next eight days for business meetings and Powerpoint death marches.  I'll be checking in as time allows but won't be as prolific as usual since there will be many mandatory nightly activities - nothing beats spending both your days and nights with co-workers...good times, good times.  Might have a guest blogger or two so you may want to visit to see what's going on around here.

While in DC, I should be meeting up with Howdy and will buy him a beer or twenty (just to make sure that he's the real deal and because I'm sure his Republican National Committee paycheck bounced).  Read Howdy's blog for the ridiculous details.  No matter what - our meeting is sure to be blogworthy.

Might make a trip to Walter Reed as well.  More about that later.

And one technical note - Typepad, my blog service, has had intermittent service interuptions over the last few days.  Thanks for notes of concern but it's a tech issue not a denial of service attack.  Lastly, Typepad has been very, very good for me/to me over the last few years.  While this last little glitch is certainly irritating, they have provided excellent service thus far.
