Another MilBlog Closes Down
First, it was Lt Neil Prakash's Armor Geddon. Now, it's SFC Kelly's Dixie Sappers blog. It appears that he also is voluntarily shutting his blog down - not on the orders of his commander.
Is it the changes in AR 530-1 (OPSEC Reg.) or is it the changes in the command understanding the power of blogs? "Power" meaning the unintended ability to quickly provide the enemy with key info (including Battle Damage Assessments).
Phil (Phil and Becky) posts about Kelly's blog and gives some guidelines on what contitutes OPSEC violations. Wayne's World has more.
