Godspeed Simon Wiesenthal
Normally, I'd post the entire article so you wouldn't have to log on to the Chicago Tribune; however, this is an exception. Simon Wiesenthal's story is so magnificient, so horrible, so strong, so stubborn, that it takes 11 pages to record it (and that's after editing it). The author, LA Times' Henry Weinstein, does it right.
His exploits during WWII - time in 12 concentration camps - missing an execution several times due to errors or timing - deciding to live another 15 minutes because the American 11th Armored was almost there - to finding his way back home - are alone simply worth your time to read.
