Update - Code Pink Protest At Walter Reed

Posted By Blackfive • [August 26, 2005]

Received this from a volunteer at Walter Reed.  It's what you need to know about these Code Pink folks.  I watched one on Hanity and Colmes last night use every debating tool in the book to keep her organization in a positive light.  Her argument was that their protests benefitted the wounded soldiers.

Well, here's the truth:

Be careful if you stop by when the protestors are there - you're likely to kill a few of them.

Reading about it doesn't do justice to their inhumanity. They're camped out right where the soldiers have to wait to pick up public transportation. They're camped out by (and timed to coincide with) the buses bringing the freshly wounded from Andrews Airforce Base. The first thing the wounded see is not the safety of a military medical base - but "you got maimed for a lie"

They're horrible evil bigots. Fortunately they're small in numbers and there are counter protestors. But every Firday I go in - I just shake with rage.

Thank you for shining a light on it. It's been going on and on and not one single story on this outrage in the Washpo.

I might stop by in a few weeks.  Humor might be the way that the wounded might appreciate a counter-demonstration.  I think most of us experience rage at this and a good way to show those trying to get our attention and get a rise out of us is to show them what giant asshats they are:

I am thinking of having a giant banner/sign made:

Jesus Loves Protestors
Everyone Else Thinks
THEY SUCK!!!

Any sign suggestions?  Put 'em in the Comments.

[In the past, I've never considered accepting donations.  But how about Bail Money?...just kidding...mostly...]
