Today IS "It's not Everyday."
It's not everyday that a guy like me gets to spend a few hours with a syndicated columnist.
This morning I had breakfast with Austin Bay. The Colonel and I talked for two hours about a lot of things - Iraq, the War on Terror, Kevin Sites, NPR, Military bloggers and policies about military bloggers, the things you find humorous while getting shot at, new projects, and Soldiers' Angels.
Of course, we have some military contacts that we share.
There's that two degrees again.
The Colonel is a class act. No surprises there. We talked through two hours quickly. And would have probably filled the day.
