Sergeant Bozik - Update 15

Reminder:  Sergeant Joey Bozik's documentary will be on MTV on Thursday, June 30th at 10PM EST.

It's been a few weeks since the last update.  You might want to revisit the fourteenth update first.  Below is the latest update from Joey's mother, Gail Bozik:

Hi,

I know it has been a long time since Joey's last update but I didn't want to give information until it was confirmed.  Joey is still at Walter Reed and will be there for another year or more.  Doctors are planning to operate and remove the left knee stump and also to operate on the right stump to remove bone spurs.  I will let you know the exact date when it is scheduled and please continue to pray us through this major ordeal.

Joey and Jayme visited Denver, Colorado last month and really like the area and wish to live there someday.  Also, Joey was given 4 tickets to attend the US Open at Pinehurst last weekend.  He really enjoyed this as he has a passion for golf.   I am traveling today to DC to be with Joey and Jayme on Wednesday, 29th of June 2005, to visit the White House and meet President Bush in the Oval Office along with Senator Elizabeth Dole.  Joey and Jayme and I will also soon be going to Ft. Bragg for Joey to receive his Bronze Star.  As soon as I get these two pictures of the president and the star, I will be able to assemble the quilt.  I am getting excited about putting it all together..Until then, please keep us near your hearts and pray us through the months ahead.  God Bless.
