How We Treat Wounded Terrorists

This photo was taken on May 27th during the fighting in western Iraq.  A captured terrorist is medevac'd to a hospital.

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Travis J. Hess, a casualty evacuation corpsman, monitors the vital signs of an injured enemy prisoner of war. Hess is a member of the II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) causalty evacuation team, which works with the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364 "Purple Foxes," deployed to Al Taqaddum, Iraq, and tasked with flying casualty evacuation missions for the team.  U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
