Help Protect the Troops

Thanks to your Blackfive t-shirt purchases and Soldiers' Angels donations, SA is sending two kevlar blankets to a unit in which I served in Germany (Send Me!) that is now in Baghdad.

One thing that you may be wondering is how the blankets get used.  Some are used for Humvees (their original intent).  However, I believe that the turrets on the M1Abrams tank and M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle are made of steel and aluminum so we are receiving requests from gunners for the kevlar blankets.  The blankets provide that added layer of protection on the turret and above the turret to protect those in the turrets (gunners, commanders, drivers).

While buying a Blackfive t-shirt will help with the purchase of kevlar blankets, I won't receive the net sales until next month and there is an immediate need so I would prefer if you donated directly to Soldiers' Angels Armor program.
