Evil Is As Evil Does

Posted By Blackfive

For those unfamiliar with the term "frag", it was "popularized" during Viet Nam and is now being bandied about by Asshat Extraordiare, Ward Churchill...

tr.v. fragged, frag·ging, frags (American Heritage Dictionary)

To wound or kill (a fellow soldier) by throwing a grenade or similar explosive at the victim: “He got fragged. Blown away” (Bobbie Ann Mason).

Trey Jackson video - Ward Churchill needs his chops busted.  While he is posing the context of "fragging" around a question of conscientious objectors, his underlying wish is for troops to frag their officers.

"For those of you who do, as a matter of principle, oppose war in any form, the idea of supporting a conscientious objector who's already been inducted in his combat service in Iraq might have a certain appeal. But let me ask you this: Would you render the same level of support to someone who hadn't conscientiously objected, but rather instead rolled a grenade under their line officer in order to neutralize the combat capacity of their unit?... Conscientious objection removes a given piece of cannon fodder from the fray. Fragging an officer has a much more impactful effect."

Trey Jackson also has a link to Churchill's email address.

Lance at RedStateRant has a post about emailing the Chancellor of the University of Colorado to have Churchill removed.  I suggest following through with a succinct and polite email to the Chancellor.

While some people might suggest a more martial approach to dealing with Churchill, removing his ability to teach young people, earn an income spewing hate, and getting a spotlight because he's "Professor" Ward Churchill, would be the best for all.

Let him throw his rhetoric from the street corner like any other conspiracy theorist, biggot whacko...

Can we try him for treason?

"providing aid and comfort to the enemy" and/or "inciting mutiny" in time of war are--and have always been--capital crimes.

too bad our government is unwilling to enforce the law...

When you call him an asshat, you are being nice...

Treason is very difficult to prove (and I think that's correct) via Article III our Consitution. I believe it requires a confession or eyewitnesses to an act of treason.

In order to have free speech, Treason and Sedition need to be limited to extreme cases of espionage, sabotage, murder, etc. Otherwise, no one can question the government...

But inciting violence might be a way to get him in trouble with his job, his state and community (and certain communities have laws about THAT).

“rather instead”? “impactful effect”?

What an incoherent jackass! Is it even worth considering whatever message this moron is trying mumble out?

Or, maybe someone will drop off a couple of stink bombs at his next rally in berkeley. But then, would they be noticed?

f

I have no problem with true C.O.'s. They do not believe in violence and "fragging" is the last thing a true C.O would do. But there is nothing to stop them from serving in other capacities for the most part. I believe there are some C.O.'s who do not even believe in military service. But these, too, also perform other services in their community. They are not cowards by any means. Most endure much public scorn and harrasment but still will not fight. If I am not mistaken there were C.O.'s who served honorably in WWII and Vietnam in medical fields and such. Of course my memory may be off and I may have watched one too many Allan Ladd movies, lol!

Well, I think that a lot of C.O.s are not true ones. IMHO alot are convenience C.O.'s.

I hardly have a thing to say... other than that Churchill deserves no place in education. Frickin' crackhead... advocating murder to make a statement. Sounds like a group of yokels that we're trying to kill now.

Being a CO and serving (re Seventh Day Adventists in WWII) is not the same thing as being a CO and thinking you'll get out of duty in Iraq or the 'stan.

Por ejemplo, being a medic and not carrying a weapon is still serving as a CO. Being a forklift driver at a base in Iraq is still serving as a CO.

Instead, cowards and politicos try to hide behind the term. Unfortunately for them, they are finding out that political objections to the war don't really fit the CO status.

I don’t get why Churchill would even come with this idiotic idea.
Just how many conscientious objectors are there in the all-volunteer services?

Ward Churchill has been a pain in our collective asses for over a year now. Last year he was in the news for an essay he wrote saying that it was our fault 9/11 happened. Then he got more press because he falsified his applications for teaching jobs. Then it was revealed that the vast majority of his papers and essays were complete bunk.

The Board at CUBoulder talked about it, and apparently decided to keep him around. I believe that at this point, he just likes the attention and is willing to say anything for it.

He's a complete wackjob.

Anything we can do to get him out of the public spotlight would be a great service to everyone, but sadly, just isn't that easy.

I'm from Boulder... and he makes everyone else in that city look normal.

Ward Churchill is one reason we need to bring back the Sedition Laws. He is promoting sedition during a time of war.
He has advocated and been recorded on tape urging his nutjob followers to kill Americans at Wall Street. This when he was invited to speak at the University of Hawaii. Worse yet he received a Merit increase from Colorado U. Are those folks in Colorado insane?

I say we answer with a grenade up Churchill's ass. I'll wear the rubber gloves.......

You little scum fucks are the ones that ought to be expelled from the country. You little fascist scum have done nothing but fuck up this country-supporting the government"s illegal aggression, thereby putting all americans in danger. This, under the American led Nuremberg doctrine (duh? look it up, dumbass!) is the supreme crime under international law, with citizen support and/or complicity being the ultimate moral default. Gee, and this is the exact opposite of what Churchill's saying. Yes, dumb-fucks, you guys are wrong - get over it! This doesn't sound like love to me (or law and order for that matter). And it's like you fucks always say - love it or leave it!

Facist! You don't even know what it's like to live in a Facist State! I know, my father grew up in one, so get over it and stop using words you know nothing about.
