If you don’t retreat to a safe distance while you recover from that indignity, he’ll get you with a Chinese finger-through-the-brain-by-way-of-the-nostril kung-fu move he’s been practicing on his mother...

No, I didn't write that one, but I might have.  Except for me, it would be about Pinkfive - my nine month old daughter - who laughs when falling from great heights (from one stair or a throw pillow)  and will probably be the next parachutist in the family.  Her four year-old brother spends a lot of time making sure she doesn't do crazy things.
