Someone You Should Know Follow Up - SPC Perez Is Back In Action

First, on October 18th of last year, Specialist George Perez was featured as Someone You Should Know.  Check out the story.  It's amazing that Perez and other amputees are re-enlisting and staying with the 82nd Airborne Division.  I still believe that he'll be a Ranger someday.

Then, go check this AP Photo.  It's Specialist Perez checking the straps of his parachute before making a jump with his prosthetic leg.  He's headed to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne.

There, he became expert in detecting, avoiding, and surviving L-shaped ambushes, before dropping out to be as entrepreneurial as he could be. He is now the founder of a software startup serving the insurance and construction industries, and splits time between Lake Tahoe, Boonville, and San Francisco, CA.
