Clueless in New York

Jason Van Steenwyk of Counter Column has been on the New York Times for erroneously reporting that a song writer was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Uh-huh.

Read this first - I couldn't laugh or cry.  I was stunned.

Here's the correction.  Apparently, there is a Congressional Gold Medal awarded to singers and song writers.  Why?  I have no idea.

[Note to NYTimes:  This isn't the first time Jason has identified an error.  You should hire Jason as your (military) fact checker.  His six figure salary would save you embarrassment and correction space resulting in greater retention of readers and revenue.]
