A Little Less Conversation...
I'm in Las Vegas at the Consumer/National Electronic Show.
Being hounded by salesmen is not my favorite way to spend the day. I swear, if just one more digital pimp gives me a smarmy smile and a "Hey, there (looking at my name tag)...um, Matt!...hey, you're from Chicago! Great town! That's AWESOME!" - I'm gonna bust his chops. Seriously, I just met a vendor that talked like Lumburgh, "Um, yeah, that's greeeaaat..." What ever happened to some straight forward business discussions?
The convention is okay - there's a few kinks they have to work out - the shuttle system is broken, I was sent all over the place for special treatment (because my company spends a lot on electronics) and the treatment was not special...wasted an hour doing that.
So, here I am at Starbuck's because I needed to get away from the Convention BS and work do shots blog
Keeping an eye out for Tammi...
