So a terrorist died in France (somebody check to see if that's a first). Arafat is/was a terrorist. Let's be clear about that.
I've had a few people ask for comments. I'll be brief.
I sincerely hope, that in death, Arafat has given his people a chance for peace. However, because the terrorist organizations that he founded/supported will not consider a two state solution, this will probably not matter. What does matter is that Arafat (and hopefully his other half) will no longer be getting rich off of the suffering of his own people. Perhaps this will allow the Palestinians to suffer less, thereby reducing the desperation which feeds hatred, and, in turn, results in the murder of innocent Israelis.
