Kerry's Goose Flap

There's some blog talk out there about whether John Forbes Kerry, pseudo-hunter, actually shot a goose as he claimed.

That's really not much of a *ahem* flap to me.

However, last night on Fox News, I watched Ohio Democrat Congressman Ted Strickland say that Kerry DID shoot a goose...

At forty feet.

At. Forty. Freakin'. Feet.

What? Did someone throw it into the air in front of Kerry...."Hey, you Secret Service sonofabitch, throw this goose when I give you the signal."

I can't speak for hunters as I am not really one. I shoot trap and skeet every so often, but not live game. So, any of you hunters feel the same way I do? Forty feet?
