Terror in Russia and Here

Of course our prayers are for the people of Russia today...As of about 10am today, it appears that 156 children and 200 adults were killed. Words cannot express my anger and sadness at this act - one.hundred.and.fifty.six.children. These children will never grow up to read the Great Books, have a first kiss, or experience the many joys of life. Their lives were taken by those who don't deserve recognition and don't deserve to live. They are vermin that must be exterminated.

While I cannot possibly fathom what it must be like to have my children held by terrorists, at the same time, I have wondered when a similiar attack might occur on our soil. It would be relatively easier to carry out than coordinating a hijacking or an attack on a federal installation or building.

We should be focused on protecting our borders, strengthening our military, and increasing the capabilities of our intelligence agencies. Because it's only a matter of time...
