France Can Go To Hell
Via Instapundit, here's something from the BBC - France just doesn't get why we should try to save a million people.
France opposes UN Sudan sanctionsGlenn Reynolds points out that it IS about the Oil - just not oil for us. It's about oil for France. Maybe Protest Warrior could use that as a new sign.
France says it does not support US plans for international sanctions on Sudan if violence continues in Darfur. <...> France led opposition to US moves at the UN over Iraq, and as in Iraq also has significant oil interests in Sudan.Mr Muselier also dismissed claims of "ethnic cleansing" or genocide in Darfur....
And this is exactly the kind of obstructionist behavior that I think about when I heard John Edwards (yesterday morning on CBS) claim that he and John Kerry will raise America's standing with the rest of the world.
The rest of the world?
Or just France?
