More on the Ohio Patriot Plan
It's game time for the Ohio Patriot Plan. If you live in Ohio, are a vet from Ohio, or know someone in Ohio that you can forward this information to, now is the time to make a difference for military personnel from the Buckeye state. You have the power to protect our troops.
Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) Steve Lynch needs help garnering support for the plan. The more ammo we can provide to the good colonel, the better his chances are of getting this Plan approved.
Here are two very simple things that you can do to help:
1. For those who support the bill (HB 426), it would be very helpful if you could fax LTC (ret.) Steve Lynch a letter of support. Your letters will be part of testimony to support the military in Ohio.
Your letter can be as short and sweet as "I strongly support the Ohio Patriot Plan, HB 426." It would also help if you could explain why (like, family or friends in the service overseas). LTC (re.t) Lynch will attach your letter to his own letter, and other supporting documents that he'll submit. LTC (ret.) Lynch will be testifying before the State Government Committee. You can fax the letters to his attention (Steve Lynch) at (216)902-6055.
2. Also, if you have the time this weekend, e-mails or phone calls to each member of the committee that is considering the Ohio Patriot Plan would be a big help. Again, LTC (ret.) Lynch will be testifying on March 23.
