Emails and Hatemails - December-January

I have received a few interesting emails lately. I try to respond as soon as I can to most emails. Here are my responses to just a few (I edited foul language with characters):

Blackfive responds to kjen1968: So I assume you are talking about this post and Sgt. Hook. I once stated that the only blogger that I tipped was Kevin of Wizbang!. That's changed now as I donated to Sgt. Hook in hopes of helping him host a weekly BBQ for his soldiers in Afghanistan. Maybe, I could set up a site where Hook could let us know what his troops would need in terms of comfort items? We could take donations and I would have them shipped. It's a thought. I am sure that the 25th ID has this covered somewhat but you never know...Oh, and BTW kjen1968, I don't ever say to support something that I myself don't support or donate to...how about you?

Can you explain your objection? Treason? How? Bush lied to get us to go to war - a war planned many years ago by Cheney's PNAC. Bush knew about the alQaida plan to hijack airliners and use them as missiles but did nothing because the PNAC needed "another Pearl Harbor" - in their own words. Condi doesn't want to testify under oath before the 9/11 Commission and Bush refuses to turn over his PDB's -
If you want to use the word "traitor" these folks deserve it a lot more than Kucinich.

I don't think you read my whole post. Kucinich replaced the commerical awhile back. The original one had coffins of our war dead with their names scrolling across the screen. He used their names, one of them a personal friend of mine, to further his political ambitions. The word "traitor" to me is the most offensive word that exists. He may not be too bright, but he is a traitor in my book.

Kucinich changed the video due to outrage generated everywhere, but mostly from the Blue Star Mothers. You know who they are? You should.

Occasionally, I get email meant for actual heroes over in Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. I've responded to all of them (pointing them to sites where they can express their gratitude). I'll post them for all of you serving this great country.

Here's one from Patricia in NY: I work in an elementary school in upstate NY. Our children and staff pray for you always. We thank you for the dedication and support that enables all of us to enjoy the life Americans have. We have sent boxes of food etc. to not only say we love you, but to show you as well. You are amazing individuals.

This one's from Tom in GA: Dear Sir, I want you and your family to know that I have been praying for you. You are truly an American hero for the decision you made to defend America and the world. I am a retired CW4 that served with the lst Cav Div in Viet Nam in 1966-1967. I heard about you at a Chief's Association Dinner. It was also refreshing to know that we are brothers in Christ. God bless you and your family!

And finally, this one from Brendan in ID: Thank you for your service and your dedication to Liberty. Know that there are THOUSANDS of us behind you and pray for you every day. God Bless and God Speed.
