I liked George Clooney in the Peacemaker, From Dusk to Dawn, and Out of Sight. I want to like the guy - he's charming. But about every month or so he says something that just makes my blood boil...

George Clooney talks about his Italian Villa. From the Scripps Howard News Service:

George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones are co-starring in the Coen Brothers' latest comedy "Intolerable Cruelty. "

Clooney reports he has bought himself a little Italian villa as a getaway.

"It's the best thing I ever did in my life. Catherine came by this summer," he said. "It really is life altering. Just by virtue of the fact that I come out of television and everything happened a little later for me, I come from the world that if you stop working you're unemployed forever. So the only real vacations I've taken have been work related. And this summer I was like, 'You know what? I have this house, I'm going to go and spend three months doing nothing.' It was the best thing I've ever done. I recommend it. Everybody get a villa in Italy. "

Yeah, right George, not only can we all afford an Italian villa, we can take three months off of work to spend in it...?

What the hell is he thinking?
