Cubs Lose, Writer's Block Ensues
I am in a slight depression after the Cubs' loss last night. Now, the Chicago *idiot* pundits are pondering whether a Cubs victory would take away the "loveable loser mystique". *ach!* Mystique? *spit* WTF?
This article talks to a psyche professor from Murray State University. *scratches head* Where?
Hey, Moron, nice article you got there - tearing apart the loyalty of generations of Cubs fans by using a third rate witch doctor at second rate school who couldn't cut it as professional therapist because the work was too difficult. I think Moose and Rocco are going to come by the Sun Times to have a little chat with you about your writing style. Note: Apologies to anyone at Murry State. I'm really sorry for taking a cheap shot at your asshole professor - I just got a little pissed. I'm better now.

Now for the good news:
Kevin at Wizbang! has a new Bonfire of the Vanities posted where you can see the worst of the Blogosphere. He never uses my write ups describing how horrible my posts are because he does a much better/snarkier job of it...
Frank J. declares today to be "Talk Like Ahnold Day". I think if I talk to much like Ahnold, ah might get a toomah. He's also got another hilarious In My World post.
Stephen Den Beste has a vision of the future...and it's hilarious. There are a lot of days where I think Shakespeare was right...
John Hawkins has a run down of the posts on the Democratic Underground blog. It's like collective apoplexy over there...and I was waiting for a "If you enjoyed this satire by Scott Ott, you can read more of his work at Scrappleface" tagline, but it never came. These geniuses actually believe this stuff...
Bill Whittle has some words about the recall and the comeback power of the Democrats.
Annika also puts the California recall into perspective - California threw out a Democrat. California! - of all places.
John of Argghhh! sends some good news from Germany...and from a brewery that is near and dear to my heart - Spaten. They have provided over 600 cases of beer for the troops.

I am the oldest of four boys. My blogless and youngest brother (blogless brother terminology shamelessly stolen from Harvey) sent his other three brothers this email:
My brothers - I am selling a digital camera for a friend of mine that needs some cash: he is in the hospital and won't need the camera anymore. To show you the quality of the camera, I have attached a high-res photo, in fact, the last one he took with the camera.View image
